Alert not generate email on Procedure fail error
I have configure Database mail and alert, test email is sending successfully to following recipient who add in OPERATORS but I have create alert on EXECUTE PROCEDURE (exec sp_insert_shift_A_data; )which are not sending email on Procedure fail error, I have choose SEVERITY is "016 Miscellaneous user error" and CHECK on raise alert when message contains and MESSAGE TEXT given "Violation of UNIQUE KEY constraint". Please answer me is there any mistake in configuration or How it is configure? Why are not sending email on Procedure fail error while procedure fail to execute?
